Almost every year, there are changes in the Malaysian Budget and the tax relief eligibility and limit. Please look at the latest Malaysian Budget to understand the criteria. To enter a tax relief, please complete the following steps:
Go to the Payroll module.
Click Modules and click Income Tax.
Select Rebate Claim Record.
Click New to enter a tax relief for the current month.
Enter the payroll Processing Date and select the Approval Status as Approved.
Click the plus button, select the Rebate ID, and enter the Rebate Amount.
Recalculate the Pay Records if you have Initialised the pay records.
Click Rebate Granted to check the claim status.
