EasyTime: Error 'Authentication failed' when Export Payroll Data

How do I rectify authentication error when exporting payroll data?

There are many possibilities for this error message. Please do as follows to resolve this error:

EasyPay and EasyTime sync password not tallied

  1. Go to EPE Control and click Security Setup.

  2. Log in to your DSN, click User Settings and highlight TMSUser.

  3. Change the password to 1234!@#$ (Default password) and click Grant Access.

  4. Highlight TMSInterface and change the password to 1234!@#$ (Default password).

  5. Click Grant Access.

  6. Log in to EasyTime and click Utility.

  7. Select Data Synchronise, Sage EasyPay and click Sync Selected Data Source.

  8. Click the folder icon, change the password for both TMSUser and TMS Interface to the password earlier and click Save.

EasyTime version has not been updated

If you are using EasyPay v17, kindly use EasyTime version 10.0.1.1 or above. Please get from the support team.

System parameter setting

If you are using EasyPay v17, kindly check as follows

  1. Go to EasyTime login as admin.

  2. Click Settings, System Parameter and click System Integration.

  3. Ensure Enable DBv17 Export Signature is enabled.

Check the EasyPay license

Log in to EasyPay and check as follows

  1. Go to the Core module and click Help.

  2. Select License Info, Function and check if it has Interface license.
