SOCSO / LINDUNG 24 JAM — June 2026 Compliance Update
What is LINDUNG 24 JAM (SKBBK)? PERKESO (SOCSO) introduced the LINDUNG 24 JAM scheme (also known as SKBBK — Skim Keselamatan Bersepadu Bagi Keluarga), effective June 2026. This new scheme extends coverage to employees' family members and is funded via an additional employee contribution on top of the existing SOCSO rates. EasyPay has been updated across all relevant areas to support this scheme correctly.
Updated Contribution Rate Tables & Calculations
The SOCSO contribution tables (ST, PR, and EX tables), formula table, policy setup, progression rules, and pay detail defaults have all been updated to reflect the new PERKESO contribution rates effective June 2026. The 2nd category formula table now includes a dedicated SKBBK column. Calculations for both the 1st and 2nd categories apply the new rates as per PERKESO's published LINDUNG 24 JAM schedule.
SOCSO8A Text File — Separation of SKBBK from SOCSO
Previously, Field 8 in the SOCSO8A submission file combined the SOCSO and SKBBK employee contributions into a single figure. This has been corrected: Field 8 now shows only the SOCSO employee contribution, with SKBBK deducted separately.
A new Exclude SKBBK option has been added to the SOCSO8A text file generation screen. When enabled, the SKBBK field in the output file will be set to 0. This option is intended for employees with two employers, who are not required to contribute SKBBK via both employers.
Label & Display Updates
Several labels across EasyPay have been updated to accurately reflect the combined SOCSO + SKBBK contributions:

Bug Fix: Error When Editing Employee Portion in SOCSO Formula Table
An error was occurring when users attempted to edit the employee portion within the SOCSO formula table. This has been resolved and the formula table can now be edited as expected.
Statutory Forms & Bank Files
CP22 Form — Malay Language Standardisation for Marital Status
The CP22 form (Notice of Commencement of Employment) is generated in Bahasa Malaysia, but marital status values were previously appearing in English. These values have now been standardised to Bahasa Malaysia to be consistent with the rest of the form and aligned with LHDN requirements.
Maybank 2E-RC (SOCSO) — Employer SOCSO ID Override
Previously, EasyPay always used the Main Employer SOCSO ID when generating the Maybank 2E-RC file for SOCSO. In cases where a company has multiple branches and each employee belongs to a specific branch, this would result in incorrect SOCSO IDs in the bank file. A new input field has been added to allow users to specify the Branch Employer SOCSO ID when generating the file, overriding the main ID where needed.
Maybank 2E-RC (Zakat) — Registration Indicator Option Added
A required field was missing from the Maybank 2E-RC file generation for Zakat submissions: the Registration Indicator (values: 01 or 02). Without this field, customers were unable to register for Zakat through the bank. This option has now been added to the Zakat submission screen.
CP8D e-Form — 2026 Pin Year Updated
The pin year value in the CP8D electronic form output has been updated to 2026, ensuring the e-form is correctly identified by LHDN for the current year's submission.
Bug Fix: SOCSO8A Form — Contribution Amount Display
A display issue was causing contribution amounts to appear as rounded integers (e.g. 119) rather than the correct decimal values (e.g. 119.05) in the SOCSO8A form. Note: The underlying calculation was always correct — only the displayed figure was affected. This has now been resolved.

New Feature: SSS Emergency Loan Category Added
A new Emergency Loan option is now available in the Loan Setup module for SSS (Social Security System) members. This follows the SSS's official introduction of emergency loans as a new loan type for its members, alongside the existing Salary Loan and Calamity Loan categories.

Bug Fix: Negative Statutory Wages Causing 'Failed to Process' Error
When an employee's No Pay Leave (NPL) amount exceeded their basic rate, the system was calculating negative values for SSS, HDMF (Pag-IBIG), and PhilHealth (PHIC) wages. This caused incorrect statutory contribution amounts and triggered a 'Failed to Process' error during payroll. All negative statutory wage values are now automatically clamped to zero, ensuring payroll processes correctly even when NPL is high relative to the employee's pay.
Bug Fix: HDMF Loan Description Correction
The HDMF loan description was displaying as 'Health Development Mutual Fund', which is incorrect. The correct name is 'Home Development Mutual Fund' (Pag-IBIG Fund). This has been corrected. Previously, this label was hardcoded and could not be edited by users.

Bug Fix: Laser Payslip Generation with Multiple Provident Fund Schemes
Employees enrolled in more than one provident fund scheme were unable to generate Laser payslips or receive payslips via email. The process was failing silently, leaving those employees without payslips. The payslip generation engine has been updated to handle multiple provident fund assignments correctly. Employees with more than one scheme can now generate and receive their Laser payslips without issue.

New Feature: IR56B — Share Gain Code Support in Pay Element Property Setup
Pay elements related to share-based compensation (share awards and share options) can now be mapped to the correct code in the IR56B tax return form. The pay element property setup has been enhanced with a share gain code option, ensuring these income types are captured and reported under Column J of the IR56B as required by the Hong Kong IRD.

Bug Fix: IR56E & IR56G XML Submission Rejected Due to HKID Trailing Space
IR56E and IR56G XML files generated by EasyPay were being rejected by the Hong Kong IRD's submission system. The cause was an extra trailing space appended to the HKID field value in the XML output, which caused the file to fail validation. The trailing space has been removed. XML files will now pass IRD validation. Additionally, an unauthorised watermark that was appearing on IR56E PDF forms has also been removed as part of this fix.
