October 2026 - Access EasyPay Version 2026.02

Introducing full Employee Welfare Fund support for Thailand, extended Shared Parental Leave for Singapore, and compliance updates across Malaysia, Philippines, and Hong Kong.

We're pleased to announce the Access EasyPay v2026.02 release — a compliance-focused update covering new statutory requirements across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Hong Kong. This release also includes general usability improvements and resolves several bugs reported by customers.

What's New

Singapore

Fix: Singapore CPF Direct Submit

We've resolved an issue affecting the Direct Submit feature for Singapore, caused by a face-scanning step introduced by IRAS. The direct submission workflow has been enhanced with a QR code and URL link, giving users three ways to complete CPF submission:

  • Scan the QR code on a mobile phone and complete credentials verification and authorisation from the phone's mobile browser.

  • Copy the URL to a local browser and complete credentials verification and authorisation from there.

  • Select Open to launch a browser of your choice and complete credentials verification and authorisation.

Once authorisation is successful, the browser will display a message confirming you can return to EasyPay.

⚠️Important: Please choose only one of the three method above. The URL and QR code can only be used once per session. If you close the session after first use, or scan more than once you will need to cancel the EasyPay screen to trigger a new QR code.

Enhancement: Shared Parental Leave extended to 5 weeks (effective 1 April 2026)

The government has extended the Shared Parental Leave entitlement, and EasyPay now reflects this change ahead of the effective date. The system will automatically apply the new 5-week allowance once the effective date is reached — no manual configuration is required.

Fix: Shared Parental Leave computation across calendar years

An issue affecting leave taken across a year-end boundary (for example, leave starting in December and continuing into January) has been corrected. Entitlement now computes accurately regardless of which calendar year the leave spans.

Fix: CPF Wizard display issue

A screen rendering issue was causing the CPF Wizard to display incorrectly for some users, making it harder to review and confirm CPF table setup. This has now been resolved and the wizard displays as intended.

Malaysia

Enhancement: Payroll Summary Report now includes Employee SKBBK amount

The employees' SKBBK contribution amount has been added directly to the Payroll Summary Report, giving you better visibility for reporting and reconciliation without needing to cross-reference a separate report.

Enhancement: SOCSO Progression Report now flags SKBBK Contribution

The SOCSO Progression Report now clearly indicates whether SKBBK Contribution applies (Yes/No) for each employee, making it easier to spot exceptions and confirm coverage at a glance.

Fix: YTD processing syntax error

Some customers encountered a syntax error when running Year-to-Date processing. The underlying issue has been resolved and YTD processing now runs cleanly.

Philippines

New: PHIC and SSS now apply to foreign employees (NRA)

PHIC and SSS contributions are now fully supported for Non-Resident Alien (foreign) employees. Full support has been extended across both schemes — including policy setup, contribution tables, progression tracking, and pay processing — so contributions for foreign nationals will now be calculated and processed correctly.

Enhancement: HDMF engine for tax-exempted contributions

The HDMF calculation engine has been refined to correctly handle contribution amounts that are tax-exempt, reducing the risk of miscalculation for affected employees.

Fix: Negative SSS, HDMF, and PHIC wages

In certain edge cases, these statutory wage fields could display a negative value instead of zero. This has been corrected — they will now display as zero when applicable.

Thailand

New: Employee Welfare Fund (EWF) support (effective 1 October 2026)

The Thai government's Employee Welfare Fund becomes mandatory on 1 October 2026 for employers who do not contribute to another provident fund. EasyPay now includes full end-to-end support for EWF, covering:

  • Policy setup for EWF contributions.

  • The EWF contribution table.

  • Pay default configuration.

  • Statutory government policy setup.

  • An enhanced SKL3 form for EWF registration, available in Thai and English.

  • Progression tracking.

  • Core Personnel name-split changes required to support EWF reporting.

📌Note: Employers who already contribute to another provident fund and do not wish to contribute to EWF may revert the progression to the previous progression manually. For the employee name to appear correctly in SKL forms, you will need to manually update the name split (Surname and First Name) in Core Personnel.

Fix: Social Security maximum age corrected from 99 to 60

The Social Security maximum age threshold has been corrected from 99 to 60, aligning the system with the actual statutory ceiling. This prevents incorrect contribution calculations for employees near or past this age.

Fix: SSS Policy Table maximum wage

An issue with the maximum wage value within the SSS Policy Table has been corrected, ensuring contribution calculations are based on the correct wage ceiling.

Hong Kong

Fix: IR56G address not populating in XML

The employee address field was missing from the IR56G XML export in some cases. This has been fixed, so IR56G filings will now include complete address information.

Enhancement: New Payment Group field in eMPF UI

A Payment Group field has been added directly to the eMPF interface, giving you more flexibility when managing eMPF submissions.

Fix: eMPF Bulk Submission CSV format

A formatting issue in the eMPF Bulk Submission CSV that could cause upload issues on the eMPF platform has been corrected. The file format now aligns with submission requirements.

Fix: IR56F Tax Report amount

An amount display issue on the IR56F Tax Report has been resolved. The figures displayed now reflect the correct values.
