To create a new pay element ID for CP38, please follow the steps below:
Go to the Payroll module, Pay Element Setup.
Click New, key in the Pay Element ID and Description.
Choose the pay element as Deduction, click Next.
Choose one grouping as None of the above, click Next.
Choose one deduction grouping as Standard Deduction and click Next.
Choose one method as Free and click Finish.
The system will prompt for code property setting, move over CP38 code to the right and click Save.
