To create a new pay element for Red Packet, you can follow the steps below.
Go to Payroll, Pay Element Setup and click New
Enter the Pay element ID as Red Pocket
Select Allowance, Click Next
Select None of the above, Click Next
Select Standard Allowance, Click Next
Select Free, Click Finish.
Move Subject to Ordinary to the left panel.
Move over Non-Taxable Code and Subject to Additional to the right panel.
Note: You need to check if your Ang pow is taxable. As a guide, any reward or gift of S$200 and below is not taxable. Any reward or gift above S$200 will be fully taxable.
