EasyTime: Create a shift code to allow early in overtime

Early in OT, include one hour of OT to be clocked by the employee before the normal start time.

You need to create a new shift code and assign to your employee. Please follow the steps below to allow early in overtime in your shift setting:

Create a New Shift Code

  1. Log in to EasyTime.

  2. Go to Settings and click on Shift Schedule Settings.

  3. Click New Schedule Code (you may refer to an existing shift code as a guide).

  4. Enable the +Early In Time checkbox.

In the Early In OT field, set the Actual Time to 7:00 AM and click Save.

Update Shift Code for an Employee:

  1. Click Employees and double-click to select a staff.

  2. Update the newly created shift code in the Pattern Shift Code field and click Save.

  3. Repeat the above steps 1 through 2 for each employee as needed based on the rotation schedule.
