ESS cannot cater for personalised off-days or company shutdowns; you need to set them in the calendars as Public Holidays. Please follow the steps below to set this:
Go to the Core module.
Click Calendars Setup and select the Calendar ID.
Click on the day the off day falls and right-click to select Holidays.
Select Public Holiday ID, enter a Description, and click Save.
In the Core module, click ESS and select ESS Settings.
Click Sync Data to ESS and click Sync Now.
Log in to ESS as Admin.
Click Settings and select General.
Click Sync all leave balances.
