Income Tax Processing Singapore: Exclude the terminated foreign worker in my IR8A process

Exclude foreign worker that filed IR21 in my income tax process, exclude resigned foreign worker.

To exclude foreign workers whom you have already filed IR21 in your IR8A process, please do as follows before you process IR8A:

  1. Go to the Income Tax module and click Query Setup.

  2. Click New, and enter a query name eg, ExcludeResignFW

  3. Tick Use Custom Query checkbox, click on the 3 dotted button

  4. Copy this Employee.ResidenceStatus IN ( 'Local', 'PR1', 'PR2', 'PR3' ) OR ( Employee.ResidenceStatus in ( 'DP', 'EP', 'FW' ) AND (Employee.CessationDate = '1899-12-30' OR Employee.CessationDate NOT BETWEEN '2015-01-01' AND '2025-12-31') )

  5. Paste into the query window.

  6. Click Save, and exit the window.

  7. Click Apply.

  8. Proceed with the Income tax process.
