ePortal: Update leave approving manager in ePortal

Change the new supervisor for leave approval in ePortal? Error: You do not have approval manager

Eportal will always sync EasyPay's Supervisor or manager to eportal at midnight. If you have a supervisor or leave approver change, you can make changes in EasyPay as follows, then copy them in the eportal:

Assign Supervisor

  1. Go to the Core module and click on Employment Details.

  2. Find the employee and check the supervisor's name.

  3. Click Career and select the Supervisor, then click Save

Copy Supervisor to eportal

  1. Log in to ePortal as Admin.

  2. Go to Settings, eLeave Settings, select Configuration.

  3. Click Copy Supervisor from EPE.

  4. Enable only those with a supervisor in EPE and click Copy.

  5. Copy ALL Supervisors from EPE. This option should only be selected if you have not been maintaining your approval manager manually in ePortal. This option will read all the Supervisor IDs assigned in the Core module and sync them in ePortal. Any manual update of the supervisor in eportal will be removed.

Update the supervisor manually in eportal

If your eportal is set not to sync the supervisors from EasyPay, then you can change the leave approver in ePortal as follows:

  1. Log in to ePortal as admin.

  2. Go to User Management and select Manage User.

  3. Search for the employee and click on Set Appr levels.

  4. Update the leave approving manager.
