Leave Errors: '(Suspend6)-Leave Application Date is before Hire Suspension Date'

Not able to apply leave for a new employee.

The employee is not confirmed; therefore, the system pops up this error message. By default, the system will require the employee to be confirmed before applying leave. To change the leave suspension condition, you may change this to user-defined 0 days for the system to bypass the hire date suspension checking as follows.

  1. Go to the Leave module.

  2. Click Setup and select the Leave type.

  3. Click on the Suspend tab.

  4. Click Hire Date Suspension and select User Defined.

  5. Set 0 and click Save.

  6. Click Process Leave, highlight the leave, and click Recalculate.

  7. Log in to ePortal and click Settings.

  8. Select the eLeave setting, configuration.

  9. Click on Copy all leave types from EPE.

  10. Go to the Core module and click Employment Details.

  11. Set Probation Period to 0 months
