To add director fees to the current IR8A, you need to create an employee profile for the director and leave the salary blank. Please complete the following steps as follows:
Core module:
Click Personnel Details and click New.
Enter the director's information and click Save.
Click the Employment Status tab, and click New.
Enter the director's information, you can enter a dummy Employee ID and Hire Date. Leave the salary as zero.
Click Save.
Payroll module:
Click Pay Processing, YTD Entry, Process.
Search the director's record.
Click the Pay Element Table Tab.
Change the Year and Period (kindly follow the date you paid the director fees).
For Pay Element, right-click and click New, enter the Pay Element ID and Declared Date, and click OK.
Edit the amount.
Click the Process YTD tab, and click Confirm.
Close the wizard.
Income Tax module:
Click View Tax Records
Click Process, select the employee, bring over to the right, and click Confirm
You'll have the director IR8A on the list
