Please follow the steps below to create a basic increment with auto backpay:
Go to the Payroll module.
Click Modules, Basic Rate Progression, and click New.
Key in as follows
Progression Date: Enter the date that you want to backpay from, e.g., Jan 2026
Effective Date: Enter the increment payment date, e.g., March 2026
Adjustment Amount: Enter the increment amount.
Click Save.
Go to Payroll, Pay Record.
With the above example, if your increment amount is 100, the system will backpay 200, overtime backpay for Jan and Feb and with the new basic salary in the March payroll.
