Below are the definitions for both the projected balance and the current balance in the eportal.
Projected balance
The staff member has applied for leave but has not yet been approved by the manager. The system will display the projected balance, including the leave that has not yet been approved.
Once the manager approves the leave, the projected balance will tally with the current/actual balance.
Current balance
The system will display the actual balance less the leave taken that is approved. Leaves that are pending approval will not be taken into account.
