The letter U in an employee ID indicates that you haven't set it up correctly. To create or enrol an employee correctly in the machine and in the software, you need to enter their details in EasyPay first, then in EasyTime and finally in STAMS. Please follow the steps below to do this:

EasyPay
Go to the Core module, and click Personnel Details.
Click New to enter the employee info, click the Employment Status tab, and click New.
Enter the employee information and click Save.
EasyTime
Log in to EasyTime (the new employee will sync to EasyTime automatically)
Click Employee and double-click the employee.
Select the Working Team and click Save.
Click Initialise and click STAMS Synchronise.
STAMS
Click Guest and select the employee.
Click Upload to machine.
Register the employee from the machine.
Go to STAMS and click Download to download the fingerprint/face template to STAMS.
Upload the template to other machines if you have (optional).
