In Access EasyPay, it is a rule that in a month you cannot have the same employee with the same record type appearing more than once even if the employee has a different employee ID.

For example, if you have an employee terminates and re-join in the middle of the month
previous employee ID: A001 hire date: 1/1/2000 and cessation date: 5/7/2025
current employee ID: A001T hire date: 15/7/2025
You cannot have both employee IDs, A001 and A001T appear in the same pay record.

The best option will be to use the latest employee ID A001T to process salary from 15/7/2025 till the end of the month, insert a pay element called Backpay Salary (previous employment), and enter the salary for employee ID A001 till 5/7/2025. If this pay element does not exist in the system, you can create it. Refer to create a pay element.
