EPE Control: Restore a huge EasyPay backup in the EPE Control

Why is my backup in EPES17.DB format?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If your backup is huge (in .DB format), you will not be able to restore a backup using the normal restore method.

You need to obtain your database path from the server and overwrite the database files. Please follow the steps below to restore:

  1. Search for SQL Central and double-click SQL Anywhere 17.

  2. Click Services, and you will see your EPE Service on the right window panel.

  3. Right-click on the service and click Properties.

  4. Click Configuration and check your database path.

  5. Exit the window, right-click the service, and click Stop.

  6. Go to the database location you checked earlier and replace the backup EPES17.DB and EPES17.LOG files.

  7. Go to SQL Central, SQL Anywhere 17, and click Services.

  8. Right-click the service and click Start.
