Income Tax Processing Singapore: Error ' Item No 8. Please provide share details'

I received an error when submitting the IRAS file. Where do I enter the share details?

This error will prompt when your employee has the stock option and you edit the IR8A form. The system will want you to enter the stock name at the Current IR8A, Income Others D, Item 8. Please follow the steps below to enter.

  1. Go to the Income Tax module.

  2. Click View Tax Record.

  3. Double-click the employee's Current IR8A.

  4. Click the Income Other D tab enter the share name at Item 8 and Save.

  5. You can enter a dot if you do not know what to enter.
