ePortal: Server Error in the ePortal application

User clicks on the second page of the leave transition record, and the error shows 'Server error'. I am unable to submit leave via eportal, error message shows as blank.

Please do as follows to resolve the server error in your eportal:

Initialise Calendar

  1. Go to the Core module.

  2. Click Setup and select Initialise New Year Setup.

  3. Click Step 1 Calendar.

  4. Select the current year and select all the calendars, and click Confirm.

Global Recalculate

  1. Go to the Leave module.

  2. Click Process Leave.

  3. Click Global Recalculate.

  4. Enable all leave.

  5. Click Recalculate and click Yes

Update in Eportal

  1. Log in to eportal as admin.

  2. Click Setting and click Eleave Setting.

  3. Click Configuration and click Copy all leave type.

  4. Click Confirm.

Start and Stop IIS

  1. Go to the eportal server.

  2. Go to the IIS Manager.

  3. Click Application Pools and select ePortal or ePortal V2

  4. Click Stop and Start services


If the above steps do not help, try restarting the ePortal server, and then raise a case if the problem continues.
