Payroll General: Error 'Syntax error or access violation' generating payslips

I have an error when generating payslips.

If you have used a special character or symbol in the payslip description, please remove it before sending out your payslip as follows:

  1. Go to the Payroll module.

  2. Click Reports and select Payslip Generation.

  3. Select the Payslip Format and move over the payment group.

  4. Click Next and select Preview.

  5. Click Preview and Generate.

  6. Amend the Payslip Description and click Process.
