Refund of Employee CPF to be amended in payroll, force change CPF in the pay records

Updated over 2 months ago

Follow the steps below to amend the CPF contribution if it has exceeded the total compulsory CPF contribution. Please print the report before you make changes.

Note: You can only change the CPF for Additional Wage as the Additional Wage ceiling is based on yearly capping. You cannot change the Ordinary Wage (monthly ceiling). Changing the Ordinary CPF contribution will raise questions for CPF and may result in CPF audit checks. Please contact the CPF Board before making any changes:

  1. Click on the Payroll module, then click Pay Record.

  2. Select the Period and highlight the affected employee pay record, and click Unlock.

  3. Double-click the person in the Pay Record.

  4. Change the amount of contribution in CPF for the employee and employer in the pay record.

  5. Click Recalculate and click No.
