You will need to check your existing eportal version first before proceeding with the eportal update. Our latest version of eportal is version 17.0.16. Please follow the steps below:
Check eportal version
Please follow the steps below to check if your eportal is updated:
Go to the eportal server and search for IIS or Inetmgr.
Expand Sites and expand the Default Web Site.
Right-click eportal or eportalV2 and click Explore.
In the Web folder, move backwards to one folder to eportalv2, e.g. below.
Double-click the Utilities folder and right-click ePortalAutoUpdateInstaller.exe.
Right-click select Properties, and click Details. The latest version of eportal is 17.0.14.
Update eportal
You can either update the eportal by restarting IIS and launch eportal. This will download the update file automatically. Alternatively, you can manually run the eportal update installer as follows:
Go to the server's task scheduler and run the eportal update
If the Task schedule did not run, manually execute ePortalAutoUpdateInstaller.exe using the Command Prompt to upgrade the ePortal.
Go to IIS or search for Inetmgr and expand Sites.
Expand the Default Web Site and right-click eportal or eportalV2.
Click Explore.
In the Web folder, move backwards to one folder to eportalv2.
Go to the Utilities folder and copy the folder path.
Search for Command Prompt and right-click Run as Administrator.
In the Command Prompt, enter cd followed by the path that was copied earlier.
e.g. cd C:\inetpub\wwwroot\eportalV2\Utilities
Type ePortalAutoUpdateInstaller.exe in the Command Prompt and press Enter (using your keyboard).
The update will start, please wait till the update displays as AUTO UPDATE PROCESS END.
