Leave: Set up leave with an advance leave application

Why I am not allowed to save the leave application? It shows no advanced application.

Advance Leave is used for exhausted leave applications in the current year, and the entitlement will be extracted from the following year's entitlement. If your leave type's distribution method is set as Distribute method, then Advance Leave can also be used for advance application in the current year, and the entitlement will be extracted from the current year of the following months.

If you do not allow your employee to apply leave more than his earned entitlement, then this advance leave option is not for you.

Please follow the steps below to set up an advanced leave application:

  1. Go to the Leave module, and click Setup.

  2. Select Leave Type and click the General tab.

  3. Enable the Advance Application and Save.

  4. Go to the Setup, Allocation Table.

  5. Search for the leave type.

  6. In the Advance column, insert 365 and Save.
