Please check with the officer to determine which month you have a short contribution and provide details to the employee.
β
If the employee earns S$2300 and allowance S$100, then the SDF wage should be at S$2400
β
The short contribution can be due to the allowances that are not included in the pay element property code. To set the SDF in the pay element property, please follow the steps below:
Go to the Payroll module and click Pay Element Setup.
Select the pay element and click the three-dotted button.
Mover over Subject to SDF and click Save.
Go to the affected employee's Pay Record and click Recalculate.
β
If you have employees not paid in the month example new hire joined in October but was not paid in October due to your payroll cut-off and was only paid in November. This will result in October's SDF being short-paid.
If you have employees who go for home leave/ sabbatical leave/ unpaid/ retention and were not paid in the month. You will also need to contribute SDF for them.
