ESS: Change notification email address

How do you update default email address?

To change the email address that a user's email notifications from ESS are sent to, please complete the form below. These steps can also be used the change a new user's default email address prior to activating the user; this will, in turn, change the Sign In name.

  1. Locate the user you wish to update in ESS.

  2. Select Contact Details.

  3. Check to see if the employee only has a Personal or Work email address; if so, add the other.

  4. Click edit in either Work or Personal contact details to Add a new one or Edit an existing one.

  5. Once the email address has been entered, click Save.

  6. Go to Account Settings and edit Notification Emails.

  7. If this is currently set to Work, change to Personal, or vice versa, and click Save.

  8. Click the Activate button if you need to activate a new user.
