Below are the following steps to check if there is excess CPF for your employee. You can either use the MAW Report or the CPF Contribution Report. The CPF Contribution report will be appropriate to generate at the end of the year (when the system has all the actual income for the year), whereas the MAW report can be generated anytime.
MAW Report
In the Payroll module, click Report, Analysis Report.
Select the MAW Report.
Select the report by Listing and click Preview.
When the Variance shows as zero, this implies there is no excess and no short contribution.
CPF Contribution Report
In the Payroll module, click Report, Analysis Report.
Select CPF Contribution Report.
Select the report by Detail.
Select Show Options Excess/(Under) Contribution.
Click Preview.
This report will not display the correct excess and short contribution until the system reaches the end of the year (December).
If there is an excess contribution in the previous month that has been paid out to the CPF Board, refer to what to do if there is excess of CPF.
β
If there is an excess contribution in the current month and you have not paid the salary and CPF, you can refer to amending CPF in pay records.
