EasyTime: No clocking data in EasyTime

Easytime no clocking data, clocking history records (STAMS) nothing to restore. Download data from STAMS to Easytime.

To re-download data from the reader, please do as follows:

  1. Log in to STAMS on the server.

  2. Click Control Center and click Entry Logs.

  3. Click Download All Logs.

  4. If you have more than one reader, you need to click on each reader in Control Centre and click Download all Logs.

  5. Go to Easytime, perform Process Terminal and Process Attendance.

  6. If the problem still persists, check in the STAMS under Tools, Database Connection.

  7. Ensure the database type is selected as MSSQL Server, and in the Connect To Database tab, it has the MSSQL information.

If the data is still not flowing into EasyTime, please check if your EasyTime database has reached the maximum size. When we install the EasyTime, we only provide the SQL Server free edition (Express), user will need to upgrade to the Standard Edition themself if they require more space in their database. Please find the steps below to check your SQL Server available size:

  1. Go to your EasyTime server.

  2. Search for SQL Server Management Studio or ssms.

  3. Log in using SQL Server Authentication with the sa account and enter your password. (We have a sa default account password, check with us if you have not changed the password)

  4. Expand Databases and right-click TMSDB.

  5. Select Properties and check the Space Available.

  6. If your space available is less than 1MB, please consider an upgrade or engage our professional service to purge past data.
