ePortal: Check SQL Server available size in the eportal

If you having issues with your eportal, cannot attach receipts, please check in your MS SQL Server Management Studio if you have available space left. When we install the eportal, we only provide the SQL Server free edition (Express), user will need to upgrade to the Standard Edition themself if they require more space in their database. Please find the steps below to check your SQL Server available size:

  1. Go to your eportal server.

  2. Search for SQL Server Management Studio or ssms.

  3. Log in using SQL Server Authentication with the sa account and enter your password. (We have sa default account password, check with us if you have not changed the password)

  4. Expand Databases and right-click eportal.

  5. Select Properties and check the Space Available.

  6. If your space available is less than 1MB, please consider an upgrade (check with our sales on how we can help you with the upgrade, but you will need to purchase MS SQL Standard Edition from Microsoft) or engage our professional service to purge past data.
