Payroll Singapore: My Singapore PR employee's CPF is not prorated in the payroll

Should the CPF be prorated in the first month for a new SPR holder?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Your PR employee's CPF is not prorated because the previous residence was not entered correctly, or it has been deleted. Please ensure your previous residence has to be either EP or FW, and the effective date for the previous residence is either the initial Hire Date or the Date of Birth of the employee.

Make the changes in the Core module as follows:

  1. Go to Personnel Details and click Residence Status.

  2. Change the record (You need to have both the FW and PR records entered here).

  3. Click Save, go to the Payroll module, and click Modules.

  4. Select CPF Progression and ensure there is a CPF Progression record for the employee.

After the changes, please do as following in the Payroll module:

  1. Go to Pay Records and highlight the employee.

  2. Click Reprocess.
