ePortal: Assign a delegate manager

How to assign a substitute manager when a manager is not available?

Follow the steps below to assign an alternate approving manager for leave applications while his/her original manager is not available:

  1. Log in to ePortal as admin.

  2. Go to Settings, e-Leave Settings, and click Delegate Manager.

  3. Select Original Manager and select the Alternative Manager.

  4. Select for selected periods as follows:

    • Yes- The manager is not on leave, but not able to approve leave (on course). You need to specify the on-course period.

    • No- The manager is on leave (whenever the manager is on leave, the delegate manager will automatically be assigned as the approver, and no specific period is needed to assign)

  5. Insert the Delegate Period and click Submit.
