ePortal: 'Configuration error' in the ePortal, could not load type 'eportal.classes.GuldSessionIDManager'

Cannot login to eportal after the eportal update to the latest version.

If you received configuration error as below picture, please do as follows:

Configuration error in eportal
  1. Go to your eportal server.

  2. Use a Command Prompt and Run As Administrator.

  3. Change directory to the eportal Utilities folder (Go to IIS, right-click eportal and click Explore to check your eportal actual path), eg, C:\inetpub\wwwroot\eportalV2\Utilities

  4. Type EportalAutoUpdateInstaller.exe and press Enter.

  5. The update should display as completed.

  6. If the update is not completed or disappears halfway, check your antivirus if it blocks the update.

  7. Upon successful update, your eportal will work fine.
