Please do as follows to get the report by option in the pay details report:
Go to the Payroll module and click Reports.
Select Pay Details Export.
Change the drop-down list to Sort By Department.
You will find the Report By drop-down selection.
Payroll General: Cannot find the report by option in pay details
Report by selection is missing in the pay details report.
